Whose Connectors Can I Use? The Universal Terminator is designed to terminate connectors from a variety of connector manufacturers.  The versatility of the UT allows us to set-up the machine for most side entry IDC type connectors.  So whether you are using the major manufacturers such as AMP, AMPHENOL, and CINCH or you are using an off-shore connector, the Universal Terminator can be tooled up to do the job. Some connectors are similar enough that we can terminate the different manufacturers on the same machine  with just exchanging the nest (The nest is what secures the connector in the proper place for terminating) and making some quick and easy machine adjustments.  The AMP, AMPHENOL, & CINCH miniature ribbon connectors can all be terminated on the same machine set-up for .085" connectors.  The AMPLIMITE and 257 Series AMPHENOL connectors can also be terminated on the same machine set-up for .050” connectors.
